| Bio: | Peat Ski is the author of several unread pieces of literature, mainly fiction, mostly bad. His work crosses all genres, from hard boiled detective fiction to light hearted fantasy back to angry rants scribbled in blood on public bathroom stalls. Yes, he is the one doing that, if you're curious. Ski lives in Pleasant Valley, NY and it is, in fact, quite pleasant, if the traffic wasn't so bad and they'd stop doing road work outside his apartment. He lives with his stepfather (who isn't really a steprelation. He states it this way for the sake of brevity in casual conversation) and does not own any pets or children or wives, though he has several cats that live with his mother. He sees them on weekends and every 3rd wednesday. He is single, neat and not always tidy. Ski only has a passing knowledge of current trends, styles and senses of humor. For fun, he watches cartoons, plays video games and tries to make sense of his world, starting with the microcosmic problems like where are my socks? and moving on to how to get George W Bush out of office. He is a buddhist and tells you to make conversation as awkward as possible, since no one understands it. For money, he is a retail worker extraordinare. He also milks the government for resimbursement for being broke, sells his body and fluids and dances on street corners for nickels. Influences include Garth Ennis, Douglas Adams, the kottonmouth kings, the cherry poppin daddis, the wutang clan, warren ellis, Max Kellerman, Eve6, Third eye blind, HP lovecraft, The Schematics, professional/backyard wrestling, the kid from Brooklyn in "Newsies", Brian Michael Bendis,Ice Cube, quentin tarentino, cartoons of any and all types and chuck palahniuk, not in that order. Current infatuations include his english professor, the Venture Brothers, the Killers, his (unbought) 1999 Saturn and the trials and tribulations of life. Dislikes are few, but passionate, including his father, drama, dating, girls who aren't overt, money and material possessions. Ski plans to use this blog for fiction and rambles not based on his personal life. He asks that you get angry with him if he starts talking about himself personally. That is all. | ||||
